On July 21st, 2007, American Kettlebell Club and Valery Fedorenko had an International Kettlebell Lifting Coach Certification in Athens, Greece. This clip demonstrates explosive power when an 80kg. athlete does 7 Reps. - 1 arm Jerk with a 200lb. Kettlebell. That’s pretty amazing.

What’s most impressive is that it seems like he doesn’t lower himself as much. It’s almost like a press. A LOT of strength going on there.

Unless he’s just really f’ing explosive… then that’s impressive, too.

I have a 32kg kettlebell made of cast iron and it’s significantly smaller than that beast. If that is mostly made of lead then it could easily be 200lbs
